Macro
A Macro is a shortcut to execute a sequence of one to six commands, each of which can be used to activate a Job Ability, start casting a spell, issue a pet command, change an item of equipment, put text to a chat channel, or perform some other action.
To access the Macro Pallet, go to menu #2, press - (dash) 2x, select Macro, then edit a book, select a book # (usually book 1).
Here's a short video clip I made about Macro.
The Spell I used here is "Cure" the Macro goes like this /magic "Cure" <me>
To use the Macro you created, you just need to press and hold the CTRL key + the number you assigned for the Macro, for this example its CTRL+1.
